Senior Youth Group (ages 13 to 18)

Our Senior Youth Group, Next Generation Socialization (NGS), meets at Y-Zone Youth Centre, Fair Oak, SO50 8RB on Tuesdays from 6.30 to 8.30pm. They have a varied programme, both in and out of the centre.
Next Generation Socialisation (NGS) was the name the young people chose to call their group. They felt that this reflected the opportunities for socialising with their peers and having opportunities to participate in many different activities. The young people themselves have input into the termly programme.
The group is staffed by four highly experienced and trained workers. The programme is kept as close to a ‘mainstream’ youth club as possible but provides the additional specialised support to ensure the young people are able to cope.
Parents have told us that without the group some of the young people would remain in their home and this is the only social group they attend.
Members and parents can contact Group leader Simone on the night on 07387 952467 or Carol on 07891 4130
